CLAY IS MY REPOSE
I am a ceramic figurative-sculpture and a kiln builder living in Gainesville, Florida. I work as a Senior Teaching Lab Specialist at the University of Florida.
Ceramic is a powerful medium that dissolves conventional distinctions: craft and art, high and low brow, function and form.
I value technical skills that produce aesthetic experiences

Here you’ll get a sense of my work, and hopefully also me. Conventional and traditional are and should be questioned. Material form and function can jog perception. I’m most tranquil balancing multiple projects and goals. But I guess that’s to be expected; I’m a Mid-westerner. Being productive is how I know peace.
